and services, are delighted to announce the recent appointment of
Steve Birnam to manage and develop business alliance partnerships in
North America for their Cadtop solutions.
Cadtop, part of SWORD’s Biztop solutions
suite is a “Designed for Documentum” solution – a simple but
powerful engineering control product designed to bridge the gap
between enterprise Cad applications such as AutoCAD, MicroStation
and EMC’s Documentum content management solution.
By meeting Documentum’s ECM criteria, Cadtop gains instant
credibility and recognition as a best of breed solution, providing
an innovative framework of applications for organisations who have
adopted EMC Documentum as their corporate Content Management
Infrastructure.
The appointment is part of a sustained investment and growth
strategy by SWORD to grow global business.
Steve has more than 15 years experience in Document Management
solutions, including sales and marketing, partner relationships, as
well as system design and implementation. He previously worked at
Cimmetry Systems Inc for 5 years, where he was Business Development
manager, responsible for building relationships with EDM and ECM
partners, including EMC Documentum. He has held several sales and
management positions, including Sales Manager at PC Docs, and
various positions with Documentum partners. Steve is therefore very
familiar with EMC Documentum, and his experience will be invaluable
in his new role with Cadtop.
